DNZoom Purchased by Bido

by Michelle on March 27, 2008

I’m a little late on reporting this news and I don’t have many details (yet) but Louisville startup DNZoom was recently sold.

As announced at the Bido Launch party and subsequent DN Journal article, Bido.com has acquired DNZoom, and the DNZoom team couldn’t be happier about it!

We are pleased to share that RecallMediaGroup.com, founders of Bido.com live domain auctions, has purchased DNZoom and added yet another key industry service to their public offering. Everyone here at DNZoom is excited about the road ahead with this expert team of domain industry players as we prepare to roll out a number of new services together in the months ahead.

I’ll be speaking with some of the DNZoom team later today so soon I’ll have more details on the deal, the company’s future and the futures of the local entrepreneurs involved.

Is any one else in Louisville having T1 (Speakeasy) problems? Mine has been down since around midnight last night and I’m still waiting on Bell South to pay me a visit. Hmmm…I’m thinking that last nights storm had something to do with it. But why only my DS1? Grrr….

Has anyone read The New Yorker article by Malcom Gladwell on the frequency of big ideas? If so, what’d you think?
