Links of local and startup interest

by Michelle on March 7, 2008

We’ll hopefully be integrating our del.icio.us feed into the site design sometime in the near future but in the meantime please allow me to share some links that I found bookmark worthy recently.

Of local interest

  • Simple Media is a new web video startup based here in Louisville. I don’t have all the scoop on the company yet but I’m working to get. Hopefully next week I’ll have more details on it.
  • The New Old Doe Anderson Emerges is an interesting post from Doe Anderson employee Jason Falls about the ad agency’s past, future and recent re-brand. It’s of particular interest I think to anyone interested in increasing brand enthusiasm, which is to say everyone in business.

Of startup and entrepreneur interest

  • Startup Prime is a short but interesting post on age, experience and “free agency” in the startup world.
  • Near legendary web application startup 37 Signals shares some workplace experiments they’re engaging in to increase employee satisfaction, productivity and just general interestingness.
  • ReadWriteWeb warns: Beware of Freeconomics

Need better information? Sedulo Group offers market and competitive intelligence.

Hey, I can’t wait to get more content on this site. Let’s get Louisville “on the map” so to speak. :)

Is any one else in Louisville having T1 (Speakeasy) problems? Mine has been down since around midnight last night and I’m still waiting on Bell South to pay me a visit. Hmmm…I’m thinking that last nights storm had something to do with it. But why only my DS1? Grrr….
